One of the main activities of our social worker is to provide an initial contact for the adolescents who arrive at Spazio Giovani on a walk-in basis. She receives them in complete privacy whether alone, as couples or in groups. During this first interaction, young people can air their questions and express their doubts while the social worker’s task is to listen, build rapport and understand their needs. Such needs may be related to pregnancy, puberty, difficulties at school, and social issues.

Our multidisciplinary consulting team of gynecologists, obstetricians and psychologists who work together with the local public health network, schools, local institutions and volunteer organizations allows us to provide 360 degrees of care to our young patients.
